Tier 1 : –
SSC CHSL Tier – I परीक्षा में MCQ प्रश्न होंगे जो पेपर 1, 2 और 3 के लिए अंग्रेजी और हिंदी दोनों में उपलब्ध होंगे। उम्मीदवारों को प्रत्येक सही उत्तर के लिए 2 अंक मिलेंगे, लेकिन प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए 0.50 अंक कटौती की जाएगी.
उम्मीदवारों को परीक्षा पूरी करने के लिए कुल 60 मिनट का समय मिलेगा जबकि लेखक के लिए पात्र उम्मीदवारों को 80 मिनट का समय मिलेगा।

Tier 2 : –
SSC CHSL Tier- II परीक्षा एक Computer Based Test (CBT) है, जिसमें Data Entry Operator (DEO) के लिए एक कौशल परीक्षा और Lower Division clerk (LDC) और Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) के लिए एक Typing Test शामिल होगा। कौशल परीक्षण 15 मिनट (लेखक वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए 20 मिनट) का है, और टाइपिंग टेस्ट 10 मिनट (लेखक वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए 15 मिनट) का है।
